A Reminder on How to Trust Yourself

One of the biggest steps you can take on your personal growth journey, and one I’ve discussed in these videos before, is connecting with yourself. If you are a high achiever, it’s especially important to make this a habit because you were probably taught to do exactly the opposite. But the more you know and connect with yourself, the sooner you can start to live a life you truly want. Once you’ve learned how to connect with yourself, it’s important to acknowledge and act upon the information you get. This is how you begin to trust yourself, just as you would trust a close friend. Trusting yourself means that, even if you question what you feel or sense, you don’t second-guess it. It means that you listen to your personal cues, and take the time to receive their message in full. And beyond all of this, it means that you don’t ignore that message even if it’s inconvenient.
