Emotional Empowerment

When we think of a healthier lifestyle fitness is normally at the forefront. We think of working a little bit harder every day to reach goals of increased physical strength and agility. However, a healthier lifestyle also includes emotional empowerment, which requires working a little bit harder every day to increase emotional strength and agility.

One of my clients worked for a large, high-pressure law firm where she left everyday emotionally drained. Her boss did not offer encouragement or affirmation, her clients demanded all of her time, and her coworkers cultivated a highly competitive work environment. Needless to say, she needed to increase her emotional strength in order to not only be successful in her job, but to enjoy her day as well.

Together, she and I discussed techniques and practices to help her navigate her day more efficiently and effectively. Happiness can be maintained with the emotional stamina to appropriately process life’s challenges.
